Fruit Tree Staple Duo

Start your own miniature orchard with this pair of superb apple and pear varieties, selected for their reliability, productivity and flavour. What could be better than enjoying fresh homegrown fruit straight from your own tree? This Fruit Tree Duo comprises two bare root plants, one of each of the following varieties:

• Pear ‘Conference’ (Quince A rootstock) – the most popular of all pear varieties, producing long, bell-shaped fruits with firm, juicy flesh that are delicious both raw and cooked. ‘Conference’ does not require a pollination partner to produce fruit.
• Apple ‘Braeburn’ (M9 rootstock) – produces huge crops of bi-coloured, smooth skinned, crisp and juicy fruits. This well known variety earns its popularity by being easy to grow, early to crop from a young age, and having excellent storage potential. The heavy crops of flavoursome apples can be harvested in October and will store for up to 4 months.

• M27 – Extreme dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 1.5m (5′)
• M9/ Pajam 9/ P9 – Dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2.5m (8′)
• M26 – Dwarf reaching a mature height of 2.5-3m (8-10′)
• M6 – Semi dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 3m (10′)
• MM106 – Semi dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 4m (13′)

Pear and Quince rootstocks:

• Quince C / Quince Eline / Quince Adams – Dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2.5-3m (8-10′)
• Quince A – Semi vigorous reaching a mature height of up to 3m (10′) to 4m (13′)
