Philodendron ‘Florida’ is an intriguing hybrid producing deep green, glossy leaves in a variety of interesting shapes, all on the one plant! Leaf shape also depends on light levels, with broader, less lobed leaves being produced in brighter light, and more deeply lobed ones in shade. The leaves gradually darken as they mature, whilst the leaf stems have an attractive reddish hue. Thriving in low-light conditions, this rainforest native will keep producing new leaves throughout the winter – a rare trait amongst houseplants! The ability of Philodendron ‘Florida’ to adapt to its environment makes it unfussy and easy to grow, so it’s an ideal choice for beginners or busy plant parents. Height and spread: 50cm (20in).
